After driving through Mac's on a recent cold morning, I decided to breakfast at Memorial Park in the center of the little city of Lancaster WI.  The pond was only partially frozen and in a large tree to the west of the pond sat this almost mature Bald Eagle.  The large bird eventually dived and came back with a newly-caught prey.   I watched as a flock of crows harassed it, hoping the eagle would abandon the catch.  Eventually the eagle was forced to relocate to another tree.  Great entertainment for my breakfast time!
